We are a full service supermarket with a great selection of gluten free products, organics in our produce and grocery aisles and other healthy alternatives.
Was refused service for not wearing a mask. Due to the legal situation surrounding Confidentiality of medical and mental history it is not mandatory to provide proof of Mask exemption, which was stated to both managers.
At the till I was told I had to either wear a mask to pay, or leave. After some discussions I decided to leave. I was also told that the staff member deemed I did not have a medical exemption based on my reply to his request to put a Mask on.
This is illegal.
