No one at reception when walking in. Waited and waited, Woman yelling at young girl staff member, telling her, she cannot go for a break. Disrespectful towards staff. Was unaware, they would be selling in lots. Small print on back of receipt states this. Very shady and underhanded place. Do not waste gas and do there. It is terrible. I got $33 for 7 paintings. I am very insulted, my family is very insulted. They didnt include any of my write up information.

Dont let them pick up your furniture. They quote the truck is $89. An hour but either they tack on a couple of extra hours or $89. Is way off. The commision is fine but they take any other moneys you make and charge it to pick up charges. I was charged just under $600. for 4 1/4 hours max. Of truck rental. When phoned to question charge I was told no one else has ever complained. A truckload of antique furniture which they sold for just under $1000. I got cheque for $127.

I attended my first auction last week and found they have the largest selection of used restaurant equipment in the lower mainland. I got the perfect Slicer and Potato Chipper and got them both for an amazing deal. They also have a great selection of antiques, collectibles and furniture.

The catalog leaves alot to be desired. I am expected to drive a half hour or hour each way to preview based on listings like 1 book, 1 adult toy, 6 dvd's, etc, etc. NO sorry 3 auction houses in the lower mainland auction off wednesday nights. If your online catalog is so vague I can't justify gas prices to go and just spend all that time and money based on the online catalog. It's non standardized, published whenever, pics are not always present for every auction, and it's just not worth the time and gas. $100 cash deposit to bid, and 18% buyers premium is the highest among it's competitors. 15% if paying cash, so how much money do I need to be walking around with???? They do get quality auctions from time to time mechandise wise about 25% of their auctions are worth attending from what I have seen, but I can buy similar items for less on CL most of the time.
