Karlheinz Jahnke was born in 1953 in Bochum, Germany. He grew up in one of Europe's major conurbations, the Ruhr area of Germany. At a young age he was introduced to working with metals in a drop forge factory. Being immersed in the intensely loud and hot environment of the forge, he watched the glowing molten steel transform into fascinating arrangements. The barrier of noise allowed for the opportunity to meditate and listen intensely to his creative inner voice. The dark, noisy, smoky surroundings made him yearn for brightness. We recently had a ring made with Jahnke Karlheinz Gold Smiths and are extremely happy with the creation. We love the ring ! It is just what we had in mind, delicate yet strong. Karl understood immediately what we wanted and made the process smooth and easy for us. His work is classic ; his style is timeless, and his quality is excellent.
We walked by this goldsmith shop today and decide to go in and take a look.
What a welcoming ... We have never been treated so rudely.
This man is just terrible and I will be sharing this to with anyone and or everyone that will listen.
He needs to go learn customer service and people skills.

If you are interested in quality craftsmanship, he is excellent. He’s a little brusk, so don’t go in if all you want is something cheap or a watch battery.
Walked in asked if they did Men's Wedding Bands as they didn't have any on display, the jeweler pointed to the sign behind him. He seemed insulted when I asked about Tungsten Carbide, said it was Mickey Mouse and that they are cut from the end of a pipe. He then said he could do a platinum ring for $1000. Just wanted to get out of the store ASAP
I called in the morning not expecting anyone to answer because I couldn't find any of the store hours for the business online.
I was expecting to get an answering machine which would normally give the store hours and any other information I needed to know.
But he answered the phone and was extremely belligerent/rude about it being before the stores hours of operation.
If your phone is a personal cell phone at least have the intelligence to turn it off if you don't want people to contact you.
