By far one of the best places to dine in Edmonton. The food is superb, and the staff are fun and very knowledgeable about the menu. Great atmosphere for a entertaining night out with friends, or a private dinner for two.
Group of 20, over 3 hours to get our food. 3 steaks were returned to the kitchen (one of them returned twice) for being under-cooked. 2 of 3 of the returns were hard, tough and inedible. Manager not present. The situation was handled terribly.
LUX may seem like an unlikely spot to flex your tropical taste buds, but one sip of their Coco Loco and you’ll be whistlin’ a different tune. They combine coconut rum, OJ and pineapple juice and top it all off with blue curacao to create the ultimate island-inspired cocktail. The only thing missing will be palm trees.
This steakhouse hosts private parties in their Vintage room, which can seat up to 30 people, or accommodate 50 guests at stand-up events. They do ask that parties of 15 people or more partake in a set menu instead of a la carte. There are several group menus consisting of three courses (with plenty of options!) on their website. This large restaurant also offers groups of 18 people or more semi-private seating in their dining room. Located in Commerce Place downtown, Lux is a fantastic location for a business lunch meeting.
Located in Edmonton’s financial district downtown, this steakhouse serves up some tasty oysters as part of their raw bar. Every day the selection changes, but it’s worth the surprise.
