Gord Grant brings a Western perspective to the Eastern philosophy of health care at The Acupuncture Turning Point. As a research doctor with a background in diagnostic research, he felt that, while the western system is powerful at diagnostics, it’s limiting in many ways. The six team members at The Acupuncture Turning Point all bring experience from wide backgrounds, including medicine, massage therapy, herbology, kinesiology and acupuncture. While their knowledge is based in science, the atmosphere is much more relaxed. “We wanted to make the space feel like a living room. The atmosphere isn’t clinical, like most doctor’s offices.” Gord says. “We ask you into our home, basically. We want you to relax and be yourself.”
The staff at Acupuncture Turning Point come from a medical background and understand the science of acupuncture and alternative medicines. The approach here features community clinics, where patients can come in for a weekly tune-up in a group setting. If you prefer a private setting, the therapists can personalize a treatment plan just for you.
