My experience with Prominent homes has been nothing short of spectacular when searching for New Homes. If I had the chance to give these guys 11/10, I would. From the first initial meeting at their New Show Home and to the weeks leading after we had lived in our new home was phenomenal!I had some minor issues after moving in and they came in and took care of everything .
Building with Prominent Homes has been a nightmare. The company is so disorganized and lack of communication is a big issue. Staff turnover has been another issue. We are pointing out design issues in our plans that the "professionals" missed.
Their upgrade charges are not clearly posted and everthing goes through an estimator. Basically add 40% on top of what is costs.
They had our deposit for many many months before even starting to build.
Construction quality control is poor and communication with head office and the site manager is extermely poor. They don't want you to check up on the construction, saying they are all "profressional", but that's not what we've been finding. Lazy trades put stuff whever they want and the builder is unwilling to make them fix it. Your home will not be built according to plan.
This has been a horrible experience dealing with company, I don't feel valued as a customer, I don't feel they care about the product they are building and that it be what the customer is expecting. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
