Great experience; A+. The atmosphere was a bit cozy for me, and not too private, but that's my personal opinion. Our server was fantastic; he was polite, friendly, made GREAT food/drink suggestions, and our glasses were never empty. The food was incredible. We really enjoyed the variety of options and quality of the ingredients! - I think our favourite was the octopus. Hats off to the management, front of house staff, and kitchen! We WILL be back, and will recommend the restaurant to friends.

Originally conceived to have both a light and a dark side, Ox and Angela is split into two halves, both serving flavourful Spanish tapas. While each side does have a slightly unique vibe, they’re both decorated with bulls, hearts and Spanish-themed knickknacks that create a kitschy-chic effect.

Its critically acclaimed el mojito features a spin on the classic recipe, featuring an extra bit of Spanish “passion” in the form of passion fruit and a splash of Sailor Jerry’s spiced rum, mint, brown sugar and muddled lime.

Whether you’re sitting on the bar-like “dark” side of the room or the brighter “white” side, a jug of sangria roja with red wine, brandy, lime, raspberry puree, cranberry juice and seasonal fruit sets the right mood.
