Huey Lam Bespoke Suits

Huey Lam has always been interested in fashion. His interest became so great that after starting his Calgary dry cleaning business, Wild Rose Cleaners, in 2006, he began learning how to measure, tailor, alter and make fine suits. “I’ve been interested in fashion since 2000,” Huey says. “I don’t know why, or where it came from. I just enjoy making people look nice, or helping them look better in a properly altered suit.”

It took him some time and research, but he had soon started another business inside his dry cleaners called Huey Lam Bespoke Suits. “I started out with alterations and slowly grew from there,” Huey says. “Now, any Calgarian can get a custom-tailored suit for between $400 and $650. No factories are involved, and you choose the fabric.”
