Wisdom Village Montessori School is diligently facilitated for Infant, Pre-Casa, and Casa programming located in the Town of Aurora. Through the Prepared Environment and the use of Montessori Material, we educate and provide students with a solid foundation to take to elementary school. Our school focuses on a structured learning environment using an academic focus, while incorporating fun and playful activities to keep students both engaged and excited about learning. We offer a program where care and education are combined. Our school follows the Montessori philosophy, where we focus on each child’s individual abilities and interests, allowing the children to develop at their own pace and helping them to become more confident and independent. Our School emphasizes social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual development. We enrich each child’s natural talents and abilities, while promoting learning opportunities that encourage the child’s development. As the child explore their environment, expanding their newly developed faculties and abilities, they will be encouraged to make choices for themselves and to accomplish tasks independently.

“The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences” (Montessori, 1967). The Montessori school materials demonstrate the learning curriculum and are designed to stimulate the child into logical thought and independent discovery. Montessori materials meet the physical and psychological needs of the child at each stage of development.
